My Story…

This run is about running together - side by side, in unity, connected through breath, land, and shared purpose. As a running group, Banagay Ngianinguu becomes a living expression of moving with each other and with Country. Listening to the stories underfoot, feeling the pulse of the land in every step, and honouring the knowledge, strength and resilience of First Nations communities. We run not only to strengthen our bodies and mind, but to raise awareness for an important cause - one that speaks to healing, justice, and the power of community. Every kilometre is a statement. Every breath is a prayer. Every footstep is a reminder that when we run together, we are stronger.

Description

Help give young Australians access to healthy relationship education.

During the 2025 RAV Virtual Team Challenge, 100% of donations made via registration and fundraising pages will go directly to NAPCAN, funding facilitator training, program adaptations, and the implementation of program delivery systems. Donations over $2 are 100% tax-deductible.

Run Against Violence has partnered with the National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN) to ensure that every Australian teenager has access to high-quality, respectful relationship education.

Love Bites is Australia’s premier program, and over the past five years, Run Against Violence has invested $500,000 in its national expansion. This is the largest investment by a non-government entity in the program's history. As a result of this investment, 1,068 program facilitators have been trained across 360 local government areas in Australia, with 70% located in regional, rural, and remote communities.
