Australia's only Virtual Team Challenge dedicated to family violence prevention.
There are four steps for a Team Captain in 2023. Those are:
1. Invent Team Name and Team Code
The Team Name can be up to 30 characters long and make it unique and distinctive.
The Team Code must be at least 4 characters long and can be a mix of letters and numbers.
2. Go to the Event page and Register yourself
Complete your personal registration details and when you reach the Team question select,
"Yes, Create new team and add this registrant" and enter your Team details.
Then answer the other questions and complete your registration.
When you complete your registration, your team will automatically be created.
3. Invite team members
Go to your personal Dashboard in Race Roster and click on Teams Tab.
Agree to T&C's which will activate Teams link.
Follow screen prompts to invite Team members - ensure you include Team name and code.
4. Send important information to team members
Many Team Captains choose to do activities beyond these steps, for instance, they set up group chats and motivate their teams.

Whether you are a first timer or returning RAV'er, here is a summary of the steps involved in registration.
- Get the Team Name and Team Code from your Team Captain
If you need us to find you a team, select the team "Run Against Violence" and use the code "0000" - Go to the Event page to start your Registration.
- Select your entry type - Standard, Silver or Gold.
- Enter your details and enter Team details when prompted.
- Purchase merchandise.
- To complete your registration, accept the waiver and then make the payment
Your Team Captain will be notified that you have joined the Team.
Once you have registered you will have access to invite friends which you access via your Race Roster homepage.

We have a limited number of entries available for people experiencing financial hardship. Should you wish to participate in the 2023 RAV Virtual Team Challenge but can't afford to do so, please contact us prior to registration, and you may be able to access one of these entries.
Join the Run Against Violence team!
During the registration process, you will be asked to select a team.
Choose "Run Against Violence" and use the team code "0000".
After you register our support team will make contact. We always have teams who are looking for additional members. Our support team will chat with you about some options and then assist with transferring your registration to that team.

Standard Entry Closed
Ideal if you’re a low-kilometre walker or runner. There is no minimum kilometre requirement. You can receive a RAV Wristband and Year Charm for participating. Price includes processing fee and GST.

Silver Entry Closed
Opt-in to the Silver entry and you’ll be chasing the target of 130km minimum during the Challenge. You only get the silver medallion when you achieve it. You can also receive the RAV Wristband and Year Charm. Price includes processing fee and GST.

If the glint of gold is catching your eye then you’ll have to opt-in and back yourself for a minimum of 200km during the Challenge. You only get the gold medallion when you achieve it. You can also receive the RAV Wristband and Year Charm. Price includes processing fee and GST.
